In Flanders Fields

In 2018 it was exactly 100 years since the end of the Great War.

In this project we pay tribute to the countless victims who lost their lives in the terrible struggle that held the world in its grip for 4 years. Music written during or inspired by the Great War as a source of inspiration is our starting point. The composers themselves were all active during the war, or wrote a work within this theme. This is the common thread running through this performance. Closely intertwined with this, actor Stefaan Degand fuses the music with a selection of poetry and testimonies from soldiers.

Under the motto ‘No More War’ we try to win the hearts of our listeners and commemorate this historic event.
